Installation Steps of Ceiling Lamp

Select the position

The first thing to do when installing the ceiling lamp is to determine the installation position of the ceiling lamp. For example, the ceiling lamp in the living room, dining room, and kitchen should be installed in the middle, so that the light in each position is more average. In the bedroom, considering the impact of mosquito nets and light on sleep, ceiling lamps should not be installed above the bed.

In addition, the ceiling lamp needs to be installed on the wall or ceiling that can bear the weight of the ceiling lamp, such as a masonry structure. Try not to choose the wooden wall to avoid the risk of falling over time.

Remove the ceiling lamp mask

Dismantle the ceiling lamp cover. Generally, the ceiling lamp cover can be fixed by rotating and clamping. Attention shall be paid to the removal to avoid damaging the ceiling lamp. After removing the mask, the lamp tube shall also be removed to prevent breaking the lamp tube during installation.

Mounting base

Place the base at the predetermined installation position, mark the wall with a pencil, then take away the base, drill holes at the marked position with an electric drill, and then install expansion bolts for fixing the base in the hole. Note that the drilling diameter and burial depth should be consistent with the bolt specifications. Then put the base back to the preset position and fix it.

Connecting wires

After the base is fixed, the power line can be connected to the wiring base of the ceiling lamp. It should be noted that the two wire ends connected to the ceiling lamp power line should have good electrical contact. They should also be wrapped with black tape and kept at a certain distance. If possible, the two wire ends should not be placed under the same metal sheet to avoid short circuits and danger.

Install mask and hanger

After connecting the wires, try to power them on. If everything is normal, turn off the power and install the mask of the ceiling lamp. The ceiling lamp in the living room also needs to be equipped with a series of pendants, because each ceiling lamp pendant is different, so the specific installation method can refer to the product manual. Hanging decorations are generally left, which can be stored after installation and replaced when necessary in the future.
